Position: Student Brand Ambassador

Marketing Werks – a PROMO 100 Experiential Marketing agency – is seeking outgoing, organized and motivated Student Ambassadors to represent a leading wireless carrier on the ASU campus!

As a Student Ambassador, you will gain hands-on experience with promotions, logistics and events, serving as the “face” of a leading wireless brand’s recruitment department on campus.  You will help promote and execute events alongside this major corporation’s Human Resources and Recruitment team, and educate students about future career opportunities. This is a great part-time position for any hard-working student pursuing a degree in Marketing or Human Resources. 

Responsibilities:

  • Event promotion (grassroots marketing on campus)
  • On-site event execution (including minimal set-up)
  • Engaging students and delivering key messaging points
  • Photographing and reporting on each event
  • Managing and reporting flyers/giveaways inventory
  • Monthly calls with office team

 

Requirements:

  • Student Ambassadors must be in at least their junior or senior year and currently enrolled in classes
  • Students must be able to commit now to all the following Wednesdays October 5th, November 2nd, February 1st and April 4th from 9:30am – 3pm plus four - eight additional hours per month for administrative work and training
  • Candidates must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs
  • Experience in promotions, recruiting and/or the service industry is strongly preferred

 

Information:

Start Date: September 30, 2011
End Date: April 4, 2012
Hours: 8-15 hrs/month

  • Salary: Training meeting pay up to $75
  • Hourly pay of $12/hour
