Description
The individual in the role of Innovation Challenge Street Team will support the Changemaker Central and Innovation Challenge in the following capacity: Act as an ambassador for the Innovation Challenge and represent entrepreneurship at ASU in a professional, engaging, and exciting manner. Assist with the creation and implementation of Innovation Challenge marketing. Participate in marketing development, planning, implementation and evaluation (i.e. Class Presentations, Workshops, tabling, etc.) Effectively promote Changemaker Central including 10,000 Solutions and Innovation Challenge through contacting key target markets, class presentations, student group presentations, event presentations, sending follow up emails after presentations, posting fliers and signage around campus in designated areas, and assist in other marketing efforts. Assist in promotion via the Changemaker Central and Entrepreneurship Facebook page and Twitter accounts. Assist with the gathering and organization information of key student target markets for Innovation Challenge applicants. Maintain databases and conduct data entry Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Successful candidate will have experience in performing the duties required, be reliable, dependable, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and experience with MS Word, Access, Excel and other Windows programs. The candidate will have knowledge and experience with either entrepreneurship, civic engagement, service learning, or community service. The candidate will have experience with marketing and public speaking. The candidate will demonstrate leadership skills including working in a team environment and time management. The candidate will have the ability to work independently and take initiative in order to complete assignments. The candidate will have personal skills and qualities including, creativity, detail-oriented and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
