How to Keep a Growth Mindset

Over the past couple of years, I’ve faced some major challenges. From failing job interviews to my own personal hindrances, each of these experiences I did not allow them to set me back or bring me down.

Instead, I focused on these three points to overcome my plights:

Know your worth

Don’t let situations define who you are. If you are self-aware of your strengths and you understand what you’re capable of, then there’s no need to look back

Make every challenge fun

When faced with a difficult task, I like to think of it as an experience that will test my skills and abilities. The reward becomes a personal victory.

Learn. Every. Single. Day

When you’re not learning, you’re not growing. Your brain is plastic—it absorbs new information and rewires your mental state based on what you take in. Set some time to yourself every day to learn something new.

Maintaining a growth mindset is one of the most powerful tools you can ever possess.
